20 Forthlin Road
20 Forthlin Road, Allerton, Liverpool
A bit bizarre this one, but I had to list it because of the many Beatles fans who visit this site. Well basically its a typical Liverpool terraced house where Paul McCartney grew up. The evidence is on the walls of Paul's bedroom where he would scribble lyrics and so forth.
It's definitely an attraction for the true Beatles worshipper, so don't bother if you were more into the Stones. One good point - Penny Lane is only around the corner so why not kill two birds with one stone(I'll probably be in the Tavern around the corner so make it a large one, no ice). You can only get to the house via mini bus which leaves from Speke Hall, so check that page for address details.
