Sefton Park, Liverpool 17
No visit to Merseyside is complete without a visit to my favourite Liverpool park - Sefton. One of the larger parks in the city, when in its grounds its somehow hard to believe that you're standing in the middle of one of the North's most industrial cities. In fact, when taking walk around the park its hard to believe you're in Liverpool.

Situated just south of Toxteth, Sefton Park is great summer's day spent out and about, especially if take in Lark Lane on your travels (which is situated in the park).
Lark Lane is a small and pleasant area of the city which is home to a sprinkling of top quality wine bars, restaurants and pubs. Though on first glance the area may seem quite insular and for those with riches in their pockets, the area is actually very bohemian and houses a very broad mix of different types of people who are happy living together side by side. This gives the area a quality which is hard to find in other parts of the city, and is why I would fully recommend a visit. But beware, if you spend to long in Sefton Park you may find yourself needing to live there - its happened before!
