World Museum Liverpool

William Brown Street, City Centre

I have good memories of this Museum, many a Saturday afternoon as a child was spent here peering at the dinosaur figures, train engines and the totem poles. Bliss... Today World Museum Liverpool combines historic treasures from across the globe with the latest interactive technology to make an unbeatable family day out. Our internationally important collections include archaeology, ethnology and the natural and physical sciences as well as Britain's only free Planetarium.

With everything from real live bugs to Egyptian mummies, prehistoric pottery to space exploration, as well as lots of hands-on fun, there's something for everyone inside.

Liverpool Museum

The museum also has a good team of advisors and demonstrators who are only to happy to answer questions and talk about the some of the building's great collections. A must for all children (and adults) everywhere! The museum is free for children which makes a visit one of the cheapest days out in the region if you're taking the family. For events and exhibition info see the museums excellent website listed below.
